Bodhran Solo: "Reel Around The Sun" Cover - Sally Avant

This piece of music means a lot to me because it's the first piece of Celtic music I was ever exposed to by watching Riverdance on TV when I was ten. It's what turned me on to this kind of music in the first place. The Irish party in third class scene from the movie "Titanic" however, was my first exposure to the bodhran and it's what inspired me to want to play it. I was 12 when I saw that movie. But I didn't have the confidence back then to think I could play music, so I just put it on the back burner. It wasn't until watching "Celtic Woman" eight years ago that reminded me all over again about my passion for the bodhran and finally gave me the confidence to play. My confidence was stronger at this point.Thank you, Mance Grady, for helping me unlock the power of this gift of music God gave me that was always waiting within my spirit to be unleashed.
