Ep-118 | Farmers Protest & Govt. talks but Nation stands by Farmers on Farm Laws 2020 | 8:00 PM LIVE

Anand Vardhan Singh talks LIVE to the viewers on the ongoing farmers protests in New Delhi on 3 New Farm Laws. The 4th round of talks between Farmers Associations and the Government was held today of which the results are awaited. However, today the Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh met Home Minister Amit Shah and urged to resolve the stand off soon. Former Chief Minister and Senior Leader of Shiromani Akali Dal Prakash Singh Badal returned his Padma Vibhushan and Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa of Akali Dal returned his Padma Bhushan Award.

During the meeting today with the Government the farmers representatives denied to have the lunch offered at the meeting and had their own food. In the meeting held on1 December 2020, farmers also had denied the tea and walked out. But as the reports come from several parts of the country, the Nation seems to have been standing by the farmers which indicates the pressure on the Government will increase on coming days.

#DilliChalo os the farmers’ pretest against the Farm Bill 2020 where thousands of farmers are marching towards New Delhi in order to express their concerns on the Farm Bills passed by Narendra Modi Government. They are asking to mention the Minimum Support Price #MSP in these bills as it is suspected that famers will not get the right price for their produce after the Mandis and APMC Act will be abolished. However, Modi Government has been verbally saying MSP will not be removed and farmers can sell their produce according to their convenience. Farmers have some more objections on Contract Farming etc. but Government does not seem inclined to listen to their problems.
