After building my 8700k system and beginning to overclock, I immediately realised I was going to need to delid the processor in order to take full advantage of my watercooling setup. So here goes!

In this video I take you though the entire process of delidding your 8700K using the RockitCool Delidding tool (or just about any other delidding tool available), including removal of the CPU, IHS, cleaning and applying liquid metal. While we're at it, we also add a larger pure copper IHS to further reduce temperatures.
