Astoria, OR | Free Camping | Harvest Hosts | RV Living

Astoria Oregon was a great pass through town. We camped for free in the Safeway parking lot just steps away from the $1 trolley!! The weather was rainy but we did see Haystack Rock from an overlook right off of the Pacific Coast Hwy. We also camped at a Harvest Host location in Tillamook called the Blue Heron French Cheese Company. Delicious food and wine. Highly recommend visiting if you are passing through the area. The last place we visited was Depoe Bay to whale watch! Very unexpected! We find that not planning our exact route or timeline help us run into some amazing suprises. Fall 2019
