‘On the cusp of full throttle combat’: Military sources warn of escalating Iran hostilities

US President Donald Trump has announced a planned US military strike on Iran will be postponed.

The action was delayed at the request of Gulf leaders as diplomatic efforts continue to pursue a peace agreement.

Former US Army vice chief of staff Jack Keane commented on this.

“We’ve tried to work a deal with these guys, and it just doesn’t seem possible,” Mr Keane said.

“We are on the cusp of returning to full throttle combat operations.”
