Is DialogExtractor Worth It? Testing a New Dialogue Isolation Plugin on Podcast Audio

There's a new dialogue isolation plugin on the market from a smaller developer called MyAudioFactory. DialogExtractor uses a hybrid approach — part neural network, part traditional signal processing — and claims to reduce the metallic artifacts you sometimes get with pure ML solutions. But it only handles noise, not reverb. So is it worth it?

In this video, I test DialogExtractor on challenging podcast audio and compare it directly against Cedar Audio's VoiceX and Accentize's dxSplit with dxRevive Pro. I walk through the plugin interface, break down the pricing ($49.99 early adopter, $99 regular), and give you my honest verdict on where it fits — or doesn't — in a podcast editor's toolkit.
