Austin Myers and Timothy Mosley were brought to court for the murder of 18-year-old Justin Back after what started as a robbery turned deadly.
Their plan was to steal money from a safe inside Justin’s house… but prosecutors revealed the victim was strangled to death instead. Even more chilling, Timothy later admitted they did it “so there would be no mess.”
During sentencing, Austin Myers emotionally begged the court for mercy and even pleaded a second time. But Justin’s father refused to forgive him.
At just 19 years old, Austin Myers was sentenced to death — becoming one of the youngest people in Ohio history to receive the death penalty.
