Petula Clark on stages

Petula Clark started her singing career when she entertained the people of London who were seeking refuge from Germany's bombs at the start of World War II. With her crystal clear voice and her smooth delivery, she is my favorite female singer. My favorite Petula song was written by Sir Les Reed,and hit the top ten in early 1968, "Kiss Me Goodbye." Sir Les told me that after the bombing, as a young boy, he helped his bricklayer father repair Petula's family's home from the damage incurred as the result of the bombing. Nothing, including the bombs from WWII has slowed down Petula Clark.
