One Woman's Attempt to Tackle Domestic Violence
According to official statistics for domestic violence, Spain has a database of 100,000 female victims of violence or other serious abuse inflicted on them by their partner. In 2008 alone, 120 women were murdered, an increase of 2.5 percent from 2007. Carmen Sanchez is just one of hundreds of women who have suffered violence in silence.
