Ariel Adams of aBlogtoWatch reviews the Orient Star Classic Heritage Gothic watch (Ref. RE-AW0006S). The stainless steel case is a sensible 38.7mm wide (46mm lug to lug, and 12.4mm thick) and comes on a matching steel bracelet. The silver-toned dial features blue-coated Arabic numeral hour markers and matching leaf-style hands with a 50-hour power reserve indicator, subsidiary seconds dial and date window. Inside is Orient’s in-house “Made in Japan” caliber F6G42 automatic mechanical movement, operating at 3Hz and is both hacking and hand-winding. The case is water resistant to 50 meters and a domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal tops the dial. Pricing is $800 USD.
