Hi guys welcome to aclaireytale and welcome to a brand new series of Iceland vlogs!!!!! I try to show you everything you need to know about a trip to Iceland! How much everything is, the costs, the prices, how to book, where to go, what to do, where we stayed etc so I really hope you find it helpful!!

I start at Manchester airport talking you through the costs of the Iceland flight, the hotel pricing and tell you more about our trip! I vlog each day so there should be 3 vlogs in total! We flew with Icelandair and I was really impressed with their service!
We land at Keflavik airport and I show you where to get the bus transfers and the different car rental companies there! We picked @BlueCarRental for our car and I let you know how much it is, where to pick up the car etc. I then show you how to get to @BlueLagoonIS and everything you need to know about Blue Lagoon itself! I take the go pro and show you around! I let you know everything included in your Blue Lagoon ticket and what you do when you get there. We bought the Blue Lagoon comfort tickets. I show you around the cafes and I show you the menu for the Lava restaurant.
We get back into the car and head to Reykjavik city centre to check into our Iceland hotel. We stayed at a really well situated hotel Center Hotel Arnarhvoll. This hotel was excellent and included breakfast. We had an amazing view of the sea and mountains (when it wasn't cloudy!) I tell you a bit about Iceland parking and their P1, P2, P3 system and showed you the one we used. I give you a room tour of the Center Hotel Iceland, highly recommend the hotel perfect for a couple of nights.

Next we went into Reykjavik itself to get our bearings! We walked to the Hard Rock Cafe so that I can pick up my pin! I went for a puffin one!! Then we went to see the famous cathedral, Hallgrimskirkja. The cathedral is really spectacular! Well worth seeing. We ate in the city and then it was time to come back to the hotel.
