Ok, so it's been almost exactly 6 months since I last vidded klamille. I honestly thought I would never do it again because the last time I did, it hurt me so much that I didn't want to go through all that pain again. Klaus and Cami's relationship is so special to me and it touched me so much more than most other love stories and when they took Cami from him it just felt brutal. I'm still not okay with it, my heart still breaks just thinking about her death and when I saw her in the new TO trailer, it felt like someone ripped open an old wound.
Can you believe that Klaus Mikaelson spend five years in his own personal hell and the only thing that gives him comfort and ties him to his humanity is Cami? Can you believe that some people still think they aren't soulmates??
Klaus spend over 1000 years on this earth and it took him this long to find the one person that makes him feel human. At peace. At home. And now that she's dead, he carries her with him, like he promised her, and she still gives him so much strength.

I shouldn't have used this song, tbh. Vidding it made me cry and cry and cry, I obviously still can't deal with Cami being gone because I've never experienced this kind of attachement after a fictional characters death...
Also, this video is very Klaus-centric, very much focused on his grief and why he can't just move on with his life because Cami was everything to him, because he completely let her in and he loved her in a way he'll never love anyone else.

The Three Hearts quote is from NCIS:LA and I've been meaning to use it for a klamille vid ever since I first heard it. I love it so much, it's one of my favourite quotes about soulmates and it's so fitting for Klaus as a character. He let Cami see his third heart, with all it's vulnerability, but also with all its love and that's why losing her hurt him so much more.

Ah well, enough ranting already. I hope you can enjoy this video even though it's incredibly sad... Hugs for everyone xx
