Tearing down GPUs like the RTX 2060 FE and RTX 3080 FE pushed our skill and patience to new heights, but those pale in comparison to today’s task: tearing down the Intel DG-1.

We've already tested and benchmarked the Intel DG1 video card for gaming performance and production performance (like in Adobe Premiere), but now it's time to disassemble the ASUS rendition of the Intel DG1-4G. This gives us a closer look at the heatsink, the VRM components, and the silicon. That includes rough measurements of the die size for the Iris Xe 80 EU silicon and overall package size.
