When 1000-1900's Should Sacrifice Pieces (Trusting Your Attack & Tactics!) | Blitz 3+2 #58

In this Blitz 3+2 Game #58, I show how a 1000–1900 player can sacrifice pieces on purpose to create real attacking chances.

First I find a clear tactical idea, and then I play a sacrifice where the position is still unbalanced, but the practical pressure is completely on my opponent.

If you’re scared to sacrifice material and always talk yourself out of attacks, this video will show you when it actually makes sense to trust your compensation.

🔥 What you’ll learn:
– When 1000–1900s should seriously consider sacrificing a piece
– How to use activity, king safety, and piece coordination to justify a sac
– How to keep finding forcing moves after you’ve sacrificed
– Why setting up for possible tactics/sacrifices win games at club level, even if they’re not 100% “engine approved”

⏱ Game details:
– Time control: 3+2 rapid
– My rating: 2103
– Opponent rating: 2007
– Opening type: French Defense: Knight Variation, Two Knights Variation

This is part of my Blitz series where I use this real game to teach practical positional chess for 1100–1900 players.
