Inviting artists from the #UNFINISHED18 exhibition “UNKNOWING KNOWNS | KNOWING UNKNOWNS”, moderator Farah Nayeri explores with them the ways in which their work engages with the investigative and cross-disciplinary importance of research, context and looking beyond our field of vision. They discuss the presence and influence of all forms of knowledge in their practice, from information and data to the more open-ended, ongoing processes of empathy, emotional intelligence, sensorial perception and, ultimately, action. A talk for anybody—artist or not—to remember the importance of seeing the world from the viewpoint of another.
