Radical Imagination: Imagining Economic Democracy (Richard Wolff/Stephanie Kelton)

According to a Pew Research Center report published earlier this month, the middle class represents less than half of the population and no longer dominates America. How can government rebalance the economy to favor the working class once again?

This Sunday on The Radical Imagination; host Jim Vrettos, a sociology professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice; sits down with guests, Richard Wolff and Stephanie Kelton, to discuss the idea of economic democracy.

In a thought-provoking debate, the two economic scholars will give insight into the current state of the United States economy and offer strategies for promoting a more inclusive system that levels the playing field between private and public stakeholders.

Dr. Wolff is a visiting economics professor in international affairs graduate program at The New School, founder of Democracy at Work and host of the Economic Update radio show.

Dr. Kelton is the Chief Economist on the U.S. Senate Budget Committee, the Chief Economic Advisor to presidential candidate, Bernie Sanders, and an economics professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
