Solo Car Camping Trip in the Anza Borrego Desert. But no worries, it was winter time when I was here, so the temperature is perfect and I have all the gear I need in my Jeep Wrangler

In this episode I visit beautiful the Coyote Canyon area of the Anza Borrego Desert. This whole area is absolutely amazing and filled with stark beauty. You'll find smooth, rounded boulders scattered across the weather-beaten earth and the jagged, crumbling mountains in the distance. All visible reminders of the region’s dynamic, ever-changing environment—a land shaped by fierce winds, sporadic flash floods, and tectonic activity.

The land is ragged and rough but the muted colors of the desert with its sage greens, chalky browns, and dusty golds are soft and inviting.

This is incredible land is filled with so much history.

You'll also find plenty of places to camp and explore out here. I know I enjoyed camping alone, hearing the birds chirping, enjoying the amazing surrounds of nature and wildlife, and just soaking in the peace and serenity.
