A-frame Cabin Walk Through (10 months after renovations began)

We bought this 1960s A-frame house in March of 2018. It had been abandoned for nearly 13 years. Here's the "Before" video: https://youtu.be/ew0Js-Pw1mE

The previous owner had used the home as a fishing retreat, but when he passed away, the property fell into disrepair--his family retained ownership, yet didn't use or maintain the house for over a decade. When we took over ownership, the house was still completely furnished, and even had 13 year old food in the cabinets & refrigerator!

The footprint of the main house is 24' x 36'. It has an extension to one side that is about 8' x 8.' In total, with the square footage of the second floor, it's about 1,500 s.f.

This video shows further progress at the 1 year mark (the addition of wallpaper in the bathroom & custom bunk beds in the kids' loft area): https://youtu.be/vQlFhFPLwxE

We still plan to add a deck on the lake-side, and a porch on the street side, as well as a mid-century Malm fireplace.
