This Cree moon calendar comes from the direct teaching and guidance of Elders and Knowledge Holders in the amiskwaciy wâskahikan (Edmonton, AB) area (Treaty 6). The Cree moon teachings vary from region to region.

I come to you as a learner and humbly share the very little that I know and understand about the land. I give all my gratitude to the Creator, the knowledge holders, and the Elders for the guidance I have received along my path. Some of the knowledge shared is researched animal and plant activity in the Edmonton area.
