Baltimore's Bridge Collapse: The Disaster We Saw Coming
Baltimore bridge collapse: in March 2024, a container ship lost power, drifted off course, and dropped Baltimore's Francis Scott Key Bridge into the river in seconds — and engineers had warned this exact failure was coming for forty-four years.
This bridge-collapse documentary traces the pattern of ship-versus-bridge disasters — from the 1980 Sunshine Skyway Bridge collapse in Florida to Baltimore in 2024 — and the cheap, proven fix that most bridges still don't have: protective concrete 'dolphins' around the piers and a 1991 design code for vessel-impact loads.
Every claim is built on the NTSB's own accident reports, which called the Baltimore collapse preventable — and on the decades of warnings that came before it.

How this video was made
Researched and written with a documented, fact-checked process — every claim verified against primary sources and passed an internal accuracy review (a "truth gate") before recording. Narrated in the creator's own cloned voice. Visuals combine real licensed photographs and public-domain (e.g. NASA/NOAA) imagery with: subtle AI motion on the real photos, a few fully AI-generated atmospheric/dramatized establishing clips (each real-event re-enactment carries an on-screen **DRAMATIZATION** label and never depicts the real building or a real person), and programmatic / stylized motion-graphics scenes. There are no AI-generated depictions of the real people or the real subject.
