ENTHRONEMENT BLOOD RELIC OF BLESSED ALVARO DEL PORTILLO

The blood relic of Blessed Alvaro Del Portillo in an ornate reliquary had a Rite of Reception and Enthronement last August 27, 2023 attended by more than 1,300 lay faithful at First International Shrine in the Philippines Antipolo Cathedral. Antipolo Cathedral is the 11th International Shrine in the World
The Holy Mass was a Concelebrated Eucharistic Celebration presided by the Bishop of Antipolo, Most Rev. Ruperto Cruz Santos, DD, the Vicar General of Opus Dei for Philippines and Indonesia Fr. Julio Dieguez and Rev. Fr. Reynante Tolentino the Rector and Parish Priest.
They were joined by the Antipolo Parochial Vicar Fr. Melchor Andaya, and priests of Opus Dei Fr. Roque Reyes, Fr. Dante Estepa, Fr Rafa Martin Bravo, Fr Jong Sabandal, Fr Mickey Cardenas and Fr ALex Colmeiro.
We thank God for the gift of Blessed Alvaro del Portillo who is on his way to sainthood. He prayed at the Altar of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage in January 30, 1987 when he visited the Philippines.
