Kalisz - The oldest city in Poland

Since I heard that Kalisz is the oldest city in Poland, I had high expectations to see old architecture and old monuments. However, that was not the case and to be honest I was a little bit disappointed by how the city looked like. There was a lot of construction going on in the city.
