Ackee & Roots Dish Recipe

Ingredients:
1 1/2 - 2 pounds of fresh ackee (recommended)
Note:
If fresh ackee is not available, use 2 cans
1 6-8 inch burdock root
1-2 medium sized roma tomatoes
1 medium size yellow onion
3 cloves of garlic
1/2 red bell pepper
10-15 thyme stems
8oz Coconut Milk
4 tbsp coconut aminos

Dried seasonings:
1 tbsp allspice
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp black pepper
sea salt to taste (may not be necessary)

1 pack forbidden rice
3-4 cups organic vegetable broth
