Chiricahua National Monument | Echo Canyon Loop Hike

We went to Chiricahua National Monument for the Echo Canyon hike. Chiricahua is located in the southeast corner of Arizona and is pretty remote. There is an 8 mile scenic drive that takes you past Bonita Springs Campground, the organ pipe formation, and several other named rock formations. After checking out the campground and a few sights on the way up, we did the Echo Canyon Loop hike which consists of the Echo Canyon Trail, the Hailstone Trail, and the Ed Riggs Trail. We probably should have just explored the Echo Canyon Grottoes and called it a day, but instead we found out that this 3.3 mile loop might have been a little long for our family.
