More Tips on Floorpan Alignment - RH Floorpan Mockup - Triumph Spitfire Restoration - Vortex Garage

We are back working on the Triumph Spitfire restoration and one item that was taking awhile was the mockup and alignment of the right hand side floorpan section. as this is the foundation for the sill, inner rocker, and outer rocker, it's alignment is key. Also, to ensure the frame mounts line up.

So like in our original video from the LH side (https://youtu.be/vcvBmt4-uOg) we spent a ton of time doing mockup, measuring, refitting, trimming etc.

No welding today, but we do have it mocked up and aligned and ready. Some minor trimming and prep for the inner edge to the tunnel is needed but we expect to be welding this in this weekend.

I call this a "low edit" video as it was originally part of our IRL series but it turned out to be useful to show more detail about how to mockup and align these panels. So it's not polished, camera angles aren't the best, but it's hopefully useful, thus posting it.
