Chewy M&Ms Cookies! (Baking with Babies)

Hey guys! Welcome to the first of my much-anticipated baking videos! I can't believe the last time I shot one of these, Emilia and Eduardo were probably around the same age as Alessia and Andrea! We had so much fun filming this - and this is actually an incredible recipe! You can switch up the M&M's colours seasonally like I do, or add whatever you like on top! Everyone loves when I bake these because they are the softest, chewy chocolate chip cookie and you can never stop at just one! Let me know if you try the recipe :) xoxo Anna

CHEWY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE RECIPE

Ingredients:
3 and 1/4 cups plain flour
1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt/sea salt
225g/1 cup butter, softened
1 and 1/2 cups light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup dark chocolate chips
Sharing bag of M&M's or any topping of your choice!

Method:
Preheat oven to 175 Celsius/350 Fahrenheit. Line 3 cookie sheets/baking trays with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, mix the dry ingredients. In a stand mixer, beat the butter and sugars until well-combined. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix. Slowly mix in the dry ingredients followed by the chocolate chips. Divide the dough into 30 balls and prepare onto the baking trays. Add M&M's to each of the balls of cookie dough. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, then leave to stand for 3 minutes before moving to a wire rack. Keep cookies in an airtight container and they should be good for about a week (not that they'll last that long!). Enjoy! :)
