florida state kicker misses the ball…

During the college football game between Florida and Florida State, Florida State lost in an embarrassing fashion when they attempted an onside kick but their kicker completely whiffed. The kicker barely grazed the ball and it traveled less than a yard. Since the ball did not travel far enough (ten yards), Florida State was called for illegal touching and Florida got the ball with a 24-21 lead and under a minute. The Gators held on for the win and defeated Florida State for the third straight time.
