Ideal Live and Work Space Design Post-COVID-19 | House in Demachiyanagi area 02

This project is a home for a young couple who work with books, located in a vintage apartment building near Demachiyanagi Station in Kyoto. The design aims to create a tranquil reading space that caters to the “live + work” lifestyle changes brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. The home's areas are efficiently organized, with strategically placed bookshelves to accommodate the couple’s needs for living and working. The furniture and details are designed in a unified style, using a variety of materials while maintaining a soft color palette. Soft light filters through frosted glass windows, providing a comfortable and private atmosphere.
