I’ve heard the story more times than I can count.

He messages you. Seems attractive and interested.

You hit it off. A little flirting here and there. Then you go on a date...and...it’s not bad.

Who are you kidding.

It was great.

You wonder: “Hey, maybe this’ll actually work out well for once...?” Thinking about the next time you’re going to see him.

And then the weirdest thing happens.

Whether it’s after 1 more date...or 3...at some point he kind of... cools off?

It’s like he lost interest.

What. WHY?

How can he go from pursuing you so aggressively? And inviting you out and seeming like a downright sweet guy to...feeling cold and uninterested.

It’s one of those things that always grabs at your heartstrings.

You feel something--true affection--and then...it slowly gets pulled away from you.
