Starrett Level, Vial replacement and Re-calibration…
In this video, I’ll be repairing a Starrett Series 98 by replacing a Vial in an assembly, sometimes accidents or mishandling will result in a broken leveling vial. Starrett makes available different parts for repairing their tools. With the proper part and using the right technique you can repair a tool as good as new. Today we’re going to remove the broken vial, clean the assembly, properly install a new vial and finally calibrate the 98 Series level to make it as good as new…
