Inspired by: David Gilmour

Pink Floyd are one of the best-selling bands of all time, in no small part down to the guitar and vocal prowess of David Gilmour. After massive commercial success with the concept albums ‘The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals’ and ‘The Wall, Floyd imploded when Roger Waters left the band in 1985.

Gilmour assumed leadership of Pink Floyd after a bitter legal battle and under his guidance Pink Floyd released 3 further albums including 1994s ‘The Division Bell’, which features several tracks which would go onto be regulars in both his and Floyd’s set list.

Gilmour is best known for his use of Fender Stratocasters, most notably “The Black Strat”, and as this, and a large amount of his other guitars are due to go under the hammer this week, we though there was no better time to do a Peach Inspired by David Gilmour.
