Warcraft 1: Part 2 - Grand Hamlet

In which I ramble about Duskwood, the Dark Riders, Karazhan, Prince Malchezaar, Gorehowl, and more!

A note on the Dark Riders (Warning! Legion spoilers ahead.):

The comic referred to was "Dark Riders" by DC Comics, published in 2013 (during the Mists of Pandaria expac, though set just after the Shattering). In it the Dark Riders origins were revealed, merchants who attempted to swindle Medivh (posessed by Sargeras) and were cursed for it, forced to collect magical artifacts across Azeroth. They collected several, two of which will become artifacts in Legion.

As of the posting of this video, the plan for Legion is for the Dark Riders to steal the Scythe of Elune when it is returned to Duskwood, and are hunted down by adventurers (druids, warlocks, and death knights seeking their artifacts). The artifacts are retrieved after a fight with the Dark Riders, and their leader, Ariden, is killed.

Sort of an anti-climactic result to the mystery I'd built up around it in my mind. But at least Blizzard didn't forget about them completely.
