ACID and Race Conditions

In this video, I talk about the trouble that Race Conditions can lead to and why the ACID might not be sufficient to prevent them.

I tell the story of Flexcoin, a cryptocurrency digital wallet that went bankrupt because of a Race Condition anomaly.

Next, I demonstrate that the default isolation levels don't prevent many anomalies, including the Lost Update one that can replicate the race condition reported by Flexcoin.
