Tamil Nadu Surprise: TVK To Sweep TN? Vijay Wave To Beat Stalin? Tamil Nadu Exit Poll Results LIVE

In a result that could redraw Tamil Nadu’s political map, an Axis My India exit poll has projected a dramatic debut for Vijay’s Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), giving it 98–120 seats in the 234-member Assembly, placing it neck-and-neck with the DMK-led alliance. The numbers point to a strong youth wave behind TVK. The party is estimated to have secured 68% support among first-time voters (18–19), 59% in the 20–29 bracket and 45% among those aged 30–39, far ahead of rivals.
This backing cuts across students, unemployed youth and urban voters, indicating a consolidation of previously fluid or disengaged segments. The desire for change appears to be the defining theme. Around 35% of voters cited it as their primary reason, rising sharply to 77% among TVK supporters. Vijay’s personal appeal also played a role, with some voters explicitly backing the party because of him.
