LACo.FD Truck 13 From Fire Station 170

Clip 1: Los Angeles County Fire Department Truck 13 responding from Fire Station 170 to a traffic collision involving a bus in 14's area on Western Ave. X Imperial Hwy.

Units assigned: Battalion 18, Truck 13, Engine 236, Engine 159, Squad 21, Squad 39, McCormick Amb., & CHP.

E236 (from FS14) reported a 2 vehicle TC involving a bus with one patient trapped and in traumatic full arrest.

Clip 2: Truck 13 responding to a structure fire in 170's area on 108th St. X Cimarron St.

Units assigned: Battalion 18, Truck 13, Quint 161, Engine 38, Engine 159, Engine 162, Squad 7, & Squad 39

T13 was first on scene of a single-story single family dwelling with light smoke in a residence having roof work done, T13 was able to handle the smoke removal.

All Battalion 20 companies were placed out of service for a mass-casualty incident drill at the new SoFi Stadium. Move ups included;
Engine 236 & Squad 39 to 14’s
Engine 106 to 18’s
Truck 13 to 170’s
Engine 38 & Squad 7 to 171’s
Engine 160 to 173’s

Truck 13's apparatus was formerly assigned as Vernon Fire Department Truck 76 (under Verdugo Dispatch) / Truck 111 (under Downey Dispatch) before annexation into LACo.FD and is one of a kind in the County's fleet. This truck has since been reassigned to Truck 82 in La Cañada Flintridge.
