What’s the Hotel Transylvania 3 movie about?
A few months after Hotel Transylvania 2, Dracula (Adam Sandler from Happy Gilmore and Click) feels desperately lonely since the death of his wife. His friends try to introduce him to suitors, believing that he should turn the page because it has been more than a century since it happened. But Dracula still believes that a "zing" (magic monster love at first sight) only happens once and that there is no point in trying to get over it. Mavis (Selena Gomez from The Dead Don’t Die and Spring Breakers), taking her father's melancholy as fatigue due to the management of the hotel which has grown so much, believes that he is entitled to a well-deserved break, especially since he has not left the hotel since its construction, at the death of his beloved. At Mavis' initiative, all of Dracula's family and friends get together for a surprise: to go on vacation aboard a luxurious cruise ship specially dedicated to monsters, departing from the Bermuda Triangle. During the cruise, Dracula "zings" with Captain Erika (Kathryn Hahn from Afternoon Delight), who is none other than the descendant of Professor Van Helsing (Jim Gaffigan), the infamous monster killer. The vacations are going to be more hectic than expected…
