I2C and SPI: Communication Protocols – Tech Basics | Digi-Key Electronics
Adafruit’s BMP280 evaluation board contains sensors that are capable of I2C and SPI protocols to communicate with a microcontroller or other data processing device. In this video the differences between I2C and SPI are explored in terms of the master/slave relationship, addressing and the number of dedicated input/output lines needed to transfer data.
