Another short 3 min vlog for art. I'm talking about my piece In Christina's World, a carbon print on glass from a wet plate collodion negative.
The photograph In Christina’s World is a part of the exhibition A New Earth / Silence. In the silence and isolation of deep forest I am dealing with the eternal spiritual questions. The image talks about one’s patterns that are destructive and negative, but we can’t part with them because they are part of who we are and they are representing a known, safe result, whereas breaking the negative patterns and changing our lives is frightening and unsecure. It is a human condition, I am pretty certain everyone understand what the image is about.
