Today 4 years ago, Sonic The Hedgehog 2 arrives in theaters back in April 8, 2022.
Many Sonic fans agreed not only the sequel was better than the first film.
It was a fan favorite video game adaptation come to life.
Especially a love letter to Sonic fans, when it comes to fan favorite characters, the world building, the fan service, and a movie that truly embraces the Sonic lore on the big screen.
Plus, Jim Carrey nostalgically bringing back his 90s classic comedy performance as Dr. Robotnik.
As well as Idris Elba’s Knuckles being such a scene stealer MVP in Sonic Movie 2.

Of course, I’m one of those fans that still prefers Sonic 3 over Sonic 2 as the best Sonic movie for now.
But if there’s one thing, we can all agree that Sonic 2 did the best compared to all 3 Sonic movies.
Sonic 2 has the best end credits sequence.
Also, it gave us the best original song for a Sonic movie.
Kid Cudi’s Stars In The Sky still slaps till this day since 2022.👏
