Bad News Allen (aka Bad News Brown in WWF) is a judo champion who competed in the 1976 Olympics. Vince McMahon signed Allen from Stu Hart in Calgary. Then he booked a Bad News Brown vs Ultimate Warrior series to test the audience's apatite.

The two ended up bonding to the point where Hellwig trust Bad News over other wrestlers in the locker room. In fact, Allen says it was him who encouraged Warrior to ask Vince McMahon for a 1 Million Dollar payday.

The match at hand was in Toronto for Wrestlemania VI where Warrior would become the new WWF Champion.
