Ariang Panmei - Chairman Working Committee JTC Manipur

The Zeliangrong-Npui Naga people of Tamenglong District organized a public rally demanding the immediate release of six Naga civilians who have allegedly been held hostage by Kuki narco militants since 13th May. The rally witnessed participation from community leaders, students, women organizations, churches, and the general public, expressing deep concern over the safety and well-being of the civilians. Protesters appealed to the government and concerned authorities to take urgent action to secure their safe and unconditional release and restore peace and security in the region.
