Spring has arrived in Yellowstone National Park. The park is located in the United States, in the states of Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. The park is located on the Yellowstone Plateau, at an average altitude of approximately 2,400 m (7,874 ft) above sea level. The plateau is bounded on almost all sides by the Rocky Mountain ranges, 2,700 to 3,400 meters (8,858 to 11,154 feet) above sea level.
