Eating Fur Dish in Serbia #travel #vlog

First morning in Belgrade and my friend from Toronto took me straight to a traditional Serbian breakfast in New Belgrade, right on the Danube. We went to @_taverna_jakovljevic, a place that feels like a cozy, rustic cabin filled with traditional decor, with a patio literally sitting on the river.

We had a full spread: kajmak, ajvar, cold cuts, fried cheese, tomato salad, and these crispy breads called uštipci that honestly tasted like fried croissant dough. Everything paired with strong Turkish coffee.

One dish completely surprised me. It looked like moss or fur, almost like little brown hairballs, but it was incredible with the meat and bread. Texture was strange, flavor was amazing.

Also, I couldn’t believe how affordable everything was for the quality and the setting.

Serbia is already delivering.
