Carlos Menem, former president of Argentina, dies aged 90

The former president of Argentina, Carlos Menem, has died aged 90.
He won two elections and led the country from 1989 to 1999.
Menem was born a Muslim to Syrian immigrant parents but converted to Catholicism while in prison during the military rule in Argentina during the 1970s and 80s.
