Bay Boat Build Episode 5 | New CUSTOM dash and marine electric UPGRADES

We're building a brand new helm from scratch — the right way.

In this episode of the Doghouse Marine build series, we fabricate a custom Starboard mounting panel to house all the new electronics — clean, rigid, and built to last offshore. New gear going in includes a Simrad NSS EVO3S multifunction display and a Fusion marine head unit, plus we get the switch panel wiring started for a full custom electrical system, install a new reversing relay for the hydraulic jack plate pump and outfit our setup with a dual function control switch.

Whether you're rebuilding a project boat or upgrading an old center console, this is exactly what a full helm transformation looks like from the ground up.
