Cantata de Perugia - Relato de un viaje de La Habana a México.

La importancia de este trabajo es tratar de acercarnos, por medio del color, la imagen y el sonido, a una persona con una fuerza especial en su calidad humana y artística, es encontrarlo en su ciudad, con los suyos y en su entorno: al Maestro Leo Brouwer.

Él, nos comparte su espacio e invita con su cordialidad y calidez a disfrutar de su arte en La Habana, su hermosa ciudad, tan querida por los mexicanos.

Este gran proyecto nos permitió difundir y compartir la comprensión musical de su obra “Cantata de Perugia”. Ha sido un honor estrenar esta obra en este gran país, mi querido México.

Muchas horas de trabajo y angustia en su realización valieron la pena para compartirlo ahora con ustedes. Lo entregamos, y se va. Con cariño especial porque es el resultado de un gran esfuerzo. Por favor disfrútenlo... valórenlo.

This is a very important work that reflects, through the color and the image, the experiences in the search of a great person, important in the lives of many others. The Professor Leo Brouwer that delights us through his work, “Cantata de Perugia,” provides us with his space, shares his friendship and his art…his beautiful city – Havana. An unforgetable experience, especially because the work was displayed in my beloved Mexico – this great country. I will never forget the significance of doing this project, and all that we did to achieve it, the hours of work and anguish to make it presentable..to, simply, make it.
