Testing A Very Discoloured Commodore 1541 Disk Drive 64 Vic-20 Documentation C64 C-64 - Episode 3869

I am trying to get things sorted and figured here...and so, it is time to look at a very discoloured 1541...it is likely the worst looking drive I have ever seen...but from the looks of it, it works...time to document and run it through the David Bradley 1541 Disk Drive testing program...adapted from the typical Performance Test and then altered into a version that lets you run the program over and over and over and the I altered it so that it fills 663 of 664 blocks by saving the BURN program 39 times...as it is 17 blocks, that means it almost completely fills the disk...which I have already thought would be a good thing to do...oh yes, I also decided that it was good for the test to run the head back and forth many more times than 1...sure it takes longer, but you can always set it up to run and walk away...another disk drive...another data card...life is good!
