How Nestlé Won the Market with Kitkat #shorts #shortsindia #shortsfeed #kitkat #chocolate #growth

India is now KitKat’s biggest market in the world, overtaking Japan, Brazil and several European markets. Nestlé’s FY25 annual report-related coverage says India sold 3,950 million KitKat fingers in the year, and just a decade ago India was ranked 10th globally for the brand.

The brand’s India playbook is visible on Nestlé’s own KitKat page: a wide range from 2 Finger Mini, Share & Snap Pack, Sharebag to premium Delights variants like Salted Caramel and Hazelnut. Nestlé’s FY25–FY26 updates also mention festival packs such as KITKAT Celebreak and KITKAT Goldenbreak, which shows how the brand leans into gifting, festivals, premiumization and everyday snacking at the same time.

That is the real lesson here:
KitKat did not win India by copying a global playbook. It won by localizing for Indian occasions, price points and habits and that made India the world’s No. 1 KitKat market.
