Sin & Dust in His Dark Materials

Dust is the most mysterious feature in His Dark Materials but it's also one of the most important concepts in the whole trilogy. It symbolizes human creativity, consciousness, and even our freedom. But it's also associated with the Fall, with original sin, and with Free Will. In this video, I want to explore how these elements come together and what Philip Pullman is trying to tell us by combining them the way he does in His Dark Materials.
