Yarn Lantern | Hindi

To make this exquisite lantern you need color thread or wool, a balloon, glue, a bulb and its holder. First inflate a balloon and tie a knot. Then wrap color wool / thread on the balloon. It will take you a while to wrap the thread as the thread will have to be wound round and round. Once the thread is all over the balloon, paint the thread with thin glue or Fevicol. The thread must absorb the glue. It will take you a while to apply glue to the entire surface. Once again wrap another layer of thread on the gluey surface. Now place the balloon on a cup and let it dry for two days in sunlight. Then puncture and remove the balloon. You will get a nice shell of thread which will be bound together by glue. Cut a circular hole to insert a bulb along with its holder. Tie thread to hang the Yarn Lantern. When you switch ON the lantern at night it will look stunningly beautiful.
